6.7L PowerstrokeInjector Block-Off Toolfits2011 - 2017 Ford PowerstrokeThis tool is a "must have" for anyone who works on the 6.7L Powerstroke common rail fuel systems. When a 6.7L engine will not start, one of the first things to check is fuel rail pressure. If the pressure is less than 5,000 PSI, one of the most likely causes is a defective injector that is returning excess fuel back to the tank. A return flow volume test will verify if excessive return flow is the problem. This cap is then...

6.7L Ford PowerstrokeCARB APPROVED "Disaster Prevention Kit" ( CP4 Bypass Kit ) As many 6.7L Powerstroke owners have become painfully aware, the high pressure fuel pump (also known as a CP4 pump) has a design weakness. When the CP4 pump fails, it will shed tiny particles of metal throughout the entire high pressure fuel system. The only cure in this case is to replace everything in the high pressure fuel system - CP4 pump, fuel injectors, injection lines, fuel rails, etc. We hear from our...

At low RPM's the vanes are configured to make the turbo spool up quickly to minimize lag, at higher RPM's the vane angle is changed to perform like a larger turbo. The variable geometry system uses a PCM commanded electric solenoid to control the flow of pressurized engine oil which moves a piston to control the movement of the...

Ford began offering the 6.7L engine in 2011 - the first Powerstroke engine developed in house apart from International. One of the most impressive features of the 6.7L engine is the ground-breaking pulling power they produce. The main weak spot we have seen with these engines is the CP4 fuel injection pump which has a tendency to fail and destroy the entire high pressure fuel injection system by filling it with metallic contamination. Correcting this failure requires replacing the fuel injectors, injection lines, high pressure pump, and fuel rails which will set you back over $10,000 at the dealer. If you own a 6.7L truck, you should strongly consider our 6.7L Disaster Prevention Kit which isolates the failure to the CP4 pump saving thousands of dollars. Among the other specialty products we offer for the 6.7L are quick-connect fittings for the fuel injector return connectors which can be purchased individually instead of replacing the entire return harness. We also offer DEF system parts including the DEF heater and DEF pump.
