When your pressure limiter valve fails the following symptoms may occur due to low rail pressure:

- No Start

- Low Rail Pressure Codes / Limp in Mode

- Low Power

(Each of these symptoms has many other possible causes)

This Bosch fuel pressure relief / limiter valve also has possible uses in other applications such as LLY / LBZ / LMM Duramax and 6.7L Cummins for racing / high performance applications only due to higher set pressure than the factory valves. (In high performance applications where rail pressure is increased over factory setting the stock valve may open and leak causing power loss.) Always consult a professional before modifying any fuel system component.

Valve Settings:

Opening Pressure: 37,000 PSI / 2,600 BAR

Regulating pressure with valve open: 14,000PSI / 1,000 BAR
