What are "RV275" Injectors?

RV275 Injectors are the largest injector offered as a factory option for a 5.9L 24 Valve / VP44 pump engine. They were used in mid-range (medium duty) applications only and were not originally offered for pickup applications. RV275 injectors are a very popular upgrade for pickup owners looking for a very mild performance upgrade and are generally considered to add about 40HP. The "275" in the name comes from the fact that the engines these 24V Dodge Cummins engine injectors were installed in were rated at 275HP.

What about fuel mileage?

We make NO claims regarding fuel economy, but anecdotally, with proper tuning and advance settings, we have had reliable customers report a 1 to 1.5 MPG increase. Of course if you intend to use every bit of your new-found horsepower at every stoplight your mileage will drop!

What else can you tell me?

Every injector includes a new O-ring and chamber gasket. All of our injectors are balanced and pop tested. As with any performance part you are responsible for determining the legality of what you are doing in your jurisdiction. Performance parts are for truck pulling / off road use only.
