To make power an engine has to breathe! Enter out true 4" exhaust system (compare to others that are 3" or 3.5". Performance exhaust is the first step in improving your diesel's horsepower! Additional advantages you may see are lower EGT's and higher boost pressure. These systems use high quality aluminized steel and are MADE IN THE USA! This kit contains a 3 inch down pipe (this is the largest diameter that will physically fit in the truck!), from there on everything is 4" 14 gauge mandrel bent steel including a straight through 4 inch muffler. Includes all clamps and hangers as well as complete assembly instructions. This kit fits all 6.5L pickups from 1992 - 2000 including long and short box, extended cab, etc. Also fits Suburbans with slight hanger modification. Some pickups will have slightly different hanger arrangements which will require minor modification, but all within the realm of anyone competent with basic tools. This system does not include a catalytic converter, so keep in mind if your truck currently has a CAT, you must install one on your new system to stay in compliance with emission laws.
