This Bosch CP3 pump fits mid / heavy duty 6BTA and ISBE applications such as Freightliner and large Ford Trucks (F650, etc) fitted with the Cummins engine. On these applications, the pump is mounted at and drives off the rear of the engine (unlike light duty / Dodge pickup applications that drive off the front of the engine). The notable visual feature of the mid-range pump is a nose-cone that is much larger in diameter than on the light-duty application. Technically the main difference is that the mid-range pump turns in reverse rotation because of mounting in the opposite direction
